1 John 2:15-29

Stop loving this evil world and all that it offers you, for when you love these things you show that you do not really love God; for all these worldly things, these [tag]evil desires[/tag]–the craze of sex, the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance–these are not from God. They are from this evil world itself. And this world is fading away, and these evil, forbidden things will go with it, but whoever keeps doing the will of God will live forever.

Dear children, this world's last hour has come. You have heard about the [tag]Antichrist[/tag] who is coming—the one who is against Christ–and already many such persons have appeared. This makes us all the more certain that the [tag]end of the world[/tag] is near. These "against-Christ" people used to be members of our churches, but they never really belonged with us or else they would have stayed. When they left us it proved that they were not of us at all.

But you are not like that, for the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you knwo the truth. so I am not writing to you as to those who need to know the truth, but I warn you as those who can discern the difference between true and false.

And who is the greatest liar? The one who says that Jesus is not the Christ. Such a person is antichrist, for he does not believe in God the Father and in his Son. For a person who doesn't believe in Christ, God's Son, Can't have God the Father Either. But he who has Christ, God's Son, has God the Father also.

So keep on believing what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will always be in close fellowship with Both God the Father and his Son. And he himself has promised us this: Eternal life.

These remarks of mine about the Antichrist are pointed at those who would dearly love to blindfold you and lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit and he lives within you, in your hearts, so that you don't need anyone to teach you what is right. For he teaches you all things. and he is the TRUTH, and no liar; and so, just as he said, you must live in Christ, never to depart from him.

And now, my little children, stay in happy fellowship with the Lord so that when he comes you will be sure that all is well, and will not have to be ashamed and shrink back from meeting him. Since we know that God is always good and does only right, we may rightly assume that all those who do right are his children.

Lord, help us who believe to NOT be led astray by those who wish to destroy us. Protect us Lord. Give us Strength to Stand for Jesus in these final days.

Psalms 19

The Heavens are telling the glory of God; They are a marvelous display of his craftsmanship. Day and night they keep on telling about God. Without a sound or word, silent in the skies, their message reaches out to all the world. The SUn lives in the heavens where God Placed it and moves out across the skies as radiant as a bridegroom going to his wedding, or as joyous as an athlete looking forward to a race! The sun crosses the heavens from end to end and nothing can hide from its heat.

God's Laws are perfect. They protect us, make us wise , and give us joy and light. God's laws are pure, eternal, just. They are more desirable then gold. They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honey-comb. For they warn us away from harm and give success to those who obey them.

But how can I ever know what sins are lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden fault. And keep me from deliberate wrong; help me to stop doing them. Only then can I be free of guilt and innocent of some great crime.

May my spoken words and unspoken thoughts be pleasing even to you, O Lord my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalms 19

Whoose life are you leading? Are you leading a life for yourself? Or is God leading you into his wisdom?

I don't believe I am there, but there is a place that is described when Jesus takes such hold of you that your thoughts become mute and the [tag]word of God[/tag] and the holy spirit live and breathe new life into all your think and do. This is a real battleground for Satan for when you cross that line, All of Satan's Powers and abilities to influence your life cease to hold any power over you.

Lord, I ask that you pour into whomever is reading this, and please lord, pour into me and cleanse me from any hidden sins that may be lurking in my heart. Bring us to a place where our joy is in obeying your laws, for your laws are perfect. Give us your wisdom and shine your light on our lives.

From Verse 7

The Law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul.  The Statues of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

The Precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant giving light to the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.

They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb.

By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

 Help me today Lord understand your words and laws are more precious than anything, let me see you in all I do today and help me be more like you today…Draw me closer to you Lord.
