John 16-31

"If you love me , obey me; and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter, and he will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, for it isn't looking for him and doesn't receive him, for it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him. But you do, for he lives with you now and some day shall be in you. No, I will not abandon you or leave you as orphans in the storm — I will come to you. In just a little, while I will be gone from the world, but I will still be present with you. For I will live again–and you will too. When I come back to life again, you will know that I am in my Father , and you in me, and i in you. The one who obeys me is the one who loves me; and because he loves me, my Father will love him; and I will too, and I will reveal myself to him."

Judas (not Judas Iscariot, but his other disciple with that name) said to him "Sir, why are you going to reveal yourself only to us disciples and not to the world at large?"

Jesus replied, "Because I will only reveal myself to those who love me and obey me. The Father will love me and obey me. The Father will love them too, and we will come to them and live with them. Anyone who doesn't obey me doesn't love me. And remember, I am not making up this answer to your question! It is the answer given by the Father who sent me. I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. But When the Father sends the Comforter instead of me—And by the Comforter I mean the Holy Spirit–He will teach you much as well as remind you fo everything I myself have told you.

I am leaving you with a gift—Peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid. Remember what I told you—I am going away , but I will come back to you again. If you really love me, you will be very happy for me, for now I can go to the Father , who is greater than I am . I have told you these things before they happen so that when they do you will believe [in me].

"I don't have much more time to talk to you, for the evil prince of this world approaches. He has no power over me, but I will freely do what the Father requires of me so that the world will know that I love the Father. Come, let's be going."

If God is For us, Who can be against us?

The human spirit as stated above does NOT know the peace of Jesus, the peace the human spirit knows if of this world and can only see what this world has to offer. That type of peace is short lived and never seems to satisfy us. It masks the true prince of peace and can block what God has for us.

I have experienced this in my walk as the "human spirit" raises up and overcomes the "Holy Spirit". Yes, Christians are saved, but is their walk fruitful and are they walking in the spirit of the Lord? 

I believe that a Lack of Faith can bring this about in a Christians Life and because of that lack of faith, separation from God can and will occur. Thus the human spirit will rise up and the human spirit does NOT know God nor will the human spirit come under the Law of God…and so even as Christians we continue to sin and a block between God and us occurs because we walk in the human spirit and not the Holy Spirit.

We when Yield and give our lives to Jesus then we are inviting the Holy Spirit to come and cleanse us…there is a renewing of the mind and body and the old things of our lives fall and fade away. We are washed by the blood of Jesus.

I believe this is and can be a daily battle as the battle for our souls is on.

We who are saved have been called with a holy calling, called to be saints—to be pure, hold and Godlike; to be sons with power.

When Jesus died and rose again, Death was overcome and no longer has a grip on our lives. Sin has no power over you and I. We live in Christ now…ONLY BELIEVE…It is according to our faith that God will bless with more faith. So believe….Believe in Christ…Trust God with your life…Don't worry about the things of this world.

So the way to overcome this Human Spirit is to believe and continue to believe until Jesus takes up full residency in your heart and in your mind…

PS 4:3 Mark this well: The Lord has set apart the redeemed for himself, Therefore he will listen to me and answer when I call to him.

Overcome the Human Spirit and Allow the Holy Spirit to dominate your presence by believing and walking in the truth and knowledge and promises of God…..No matter what you see here, know that God is Near!
